Sometimes you have to burn it all down to:

RESTORE. REBUILD. RISE.

.Registered Nurse & Plant Medicine Integration Specialist bridging education, preparation, integration & whole-person support.

The medicine is only one part of the journey. Psychedelic medicines can be powerful tools for healing and transformation, when combined with adequate preparation and integration. Working with these medicines can also be frightening and sometimes, even dangerous. Sometimes there is a lot to unpack after a medicine experience and you don't need to do that alone.

Preparation helps you clarify intentions, understand expectations, strengthen coping and grounding skills, identify potential challenges and create a foundation of safety and support prior to your medicine experience, treatment or journey.

Integration is the ongoing process of translating the insights, emotions and lessons learned during a psychedelic or ceremonial experience into daily life. There is no right or wrong way to integrate, the most important ingredient in any psychedelic plant medicine healing journey is committing to creating time and space for integration post.

Psychedelic medicines can open doors to deep

self-awareness and shift perspectives, integration is the actual work of anchoring those changes into your nervous system, habits, relationships and day to day life.

So whether you're plant medicine curious and don't know where to begin, preparing for an upcoming experience, or looking for support integrating and embodying what has already emerged—you're welcome here.

I'm Ash,

Registered Nurse, Plant Medicine Educator &

Integration Specialist.

Here to help you Restore. Rebuild. Rise.

I blend 17+ years of nursing experience, clinical education, lived experience and an evolving relationship with psychedelic and plant medicines to offer compassionate, trauma-informed, whole-person support.

My approach bridges science and the sacred, honouring evidence, physiology and harm reduction while holding space for the deeply personal, emotional and spiritual dimensions of plant medicine work.

Whether you're curious about plant medicines, preparing for an experience, integrating what came afterward, or simply looking for ways to restore your foundations, my role isn't to recommend which path to take. I help you feel informed, supported and connected to yourself as you decide what is right for you.

I provide education, resources and space for reflection so you can better understand your options, ask informed questions and make informed decisions. I do not provide, prescribe, administer or source psychedelic or plant medicines. My role is to support informed, empowered decision-making through education, preparation and integration.

My path into this work is personal, too. I've walked through my own seasons of trauma, addiction, grief, burnout, 50 shades of chaos, burnt it all down and experienced profound life transformations. While my lived experience doesn't make your journey the same as mine, it deeply shapes how I show up for my clients: with curiosity, compassion and respect for the person in front of me. Right where they are.

Ready to go deeper, ground & integrate?

Individualized 6 or 12 week programs with weekly 1:1 virtual sessions for those, thinking about, preparing for or integrating a psychedelic or plant medicine experience.

Preparation is about creating a foundation before the medicine. Together, we'll explore your intentions, research the medicine you're considering, identify potential risks and safety considerations, learn how to evaluate a safe and ethical provider. Preparing for both the experience and what comes afterwards.

Integration is about what happens after the medicine, the personal work that we do. We'll create space to explore what surfaced and help you bring those insights into everyday life through self-inquiry, nervous-system and somatic practices, mindfulness, boundaries, ritual and meaningful lifestyle changes.

The medicine may open the door and show you the path. Integration teaches you how to walk through it.

FAQS

What do we mean by psychedelic and plant medicines?

Psychedelic medicines are substances that can create significant changes in perception, consciousness, emotion and our usual sense of self. They include naturally occurring medicines such as psilocybin mushrooms, ayahuasca and ibogaine, as well as synthetic substances such as LSD and Ketamine.

Plant medicine is an even broader term. Not every medicine or natural support I educate about is psychedelic and technically, not all of them are plants. My support may include education, preparation and integration for psychedelic plants and fungi, non-psychedelic natural medicines such as functional fungi and adaptogens.

Do I need to be planning a psychedelic or plant medicine experience to work with you?

No. You may be curious and looking for credible education before deciding whether this path is right for you, preparing for an upcoming experience, or looking for support integrating an experience that happened weeks, months or even years ago. There doesn't need to be a first or another medicine experience planned.

What does preparation actually involve?

Preparation is about building a foundation before the experience, not trying to control the outcome. Depending on your individual circumstances, we may explore intentions, expectations, questions or concerns, safety and harm-reduction considerations, provider selection, support systems, grounding practices and what you may need when you return home. Preparation frameworks commonly emphasize expectations, coping/grounding skills and creating appropriate support around the medicine experience.

What is Integration?

Integration is where we begin translating an experience into everyday life. Rather than telling you what your experience “meant,” I'll support you in exploring what surfaced and what feels meaningful to you. Our work may incorporate self-inquiry, journaling, mindfulness, nervous-system and somatic practices, time in nature, boundaries, creative expression, supportive rituals and small, intentional lifestyle changes.

The medicine may show you the path. Integration is how you learn to walk it.

Can I work with you if I had a difficult or confusing experience?

Absolutely. Not every medicine experience feels beautiful, profound or immediately meaningful. Integration can provide a supportive space to explore emotions, questions or material that surfaced and identify what support you may need moving forward. Difficult experiences are specifically recognized within psychedelic integration literature as an important reason people may seek support. If what you're experiencing requires medical, psychiatric or psychotherapeutic care beyond my scope, I'll encourage connection with a safe, appropriate professional.

Do you provide or source psychedelic or plant medicines?

No. I do not provide, sell, source or facilitate access to any psychedelic or controlled substance. My role is education, preparation and integration support.

Is this only for addiction recovery or mental health concerns?

No. People explore psychedelic and plant medicines for many different reasons. While addiction and recovery, chronic stress, grief, anxiety, trauma and nervous-system restoration are areas I have particular experience with, preparation and integration can also support personal growth, self-exploration, spiritual connection, life transitions and simply understanding yourself more deeply.

How much support will I need?

That depends on where you're starting and what you're looking for. If you're primarily seeking education or clarity, the 75-minute Plant Medicine Education Consultation may be enough. If you're preparing for or integrating an experience and want more individualized support, 6 and 12 week options provide a longer container for preparation, integration and ongoing support.

What medicines do you have experience supporting and what are your limits?

My experience is both personal and professional. My lived experience with psychedelics began prior to sobriety, when substances such as LSD, MDMA, ketamine and psilocybin were used largely recreationally.

My relationship with these medicines changed profoundly through my own recovery and healing journey. Since then, my personal experience has included Kambo, ibogaine, ayahuasca, 5-MeO-DMT (Bufo), Sananga and psilocybin microdosing, approached through a very different lens of intention, preparation, ceremony and integration.

Professionally, I have worked as a ketamine-assisted therapy nurse supporting clients receiving treatment for treatment-resistant depression and my education and integration training through Plant Medicine People extends across a range of psychedelic medicines and integration pillars.
